Boolean Productions ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ProductiviT mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our application.

By using ProductiviT, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email Address: Used for account creation, authentication, and communication
• Password: Stored securely using industry-standard encryption (we never see your actual password)
• Sign-up method: Whether you signed up via email/password or Google Sign-In

1.2 User-Generated Content

We store the content you create within the app:

• Calendar events and descriptions
• Tasks and to-do items
• Personal reminders
• Notes and event details
• Productivity status markings

1.3 Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• App activity and feature usage
• XP (experience points) and level progress
• Productivity statistics and insights
• App preferences and settings

1.4 Google Sign-In (Optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your Google account email address
• Your Google account name
• Profile information you've made public

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for:

• Account Management: Creating and maintaining your user account
• App Functionality: Providing core features like calendar, tasks, and timers
• Personalization: Customizing your experience with XP levels, statistics, and insights
• Premium Features: Managing subscription status and premium feature access
• Communication: Sending important updates about your account or the app
• Improvement: Analyzing usage patterns to improve app features and performance
• Support: Responding to your questions, requests, and feedback

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Where Your Data Is Stored

• Local Storage: Your productivity data (events, tasks, reminders, statistics) is stored on your device using encrypted local databases
• Cloud Storage (Firebase Firestore): Account information, authentication data, premium trial status, and onboarding completion status are securely stored on Firebase operated by Google LLC in the United States
• Premium Users: Users with active premium subscriptions have access to cloud synchronization features that sync productivity data across devices (coming in a future update)

3.2 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Passwords are hashed and encrypted
• Firebase Authentication provides secure login
• Local data is encrypted on your device
• We regularly update security protocols

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

4.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4.2 Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): For authentication, cloud storage, and database services
• Google Play Billing: For processing premium subscription payments

These services have their own privacy policies and handle your data according to their terms.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law or to:

• Comply with legal obligations or court orders
• Protect our rights, property, or safety
• Prevent fraud or abuse
• Enforce our Terms of Service

5. Your Data Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

You can access all your data within the app at any time.

5.2 Export

You can export your data (events, tasks, statistics) from the app settings.

5.3 Correction

You can edit or update your information directly in the app.

5.4 Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through:

• App Settings → Other Settings → Delete Account
• All data will be permanently deleted within 30 days

5.5 Data Portability

You can export your data in JSON format for use in other applications.

6. Children's Privacy

ProductiviT is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete it immediately.

7. Premium Subscriptions

If you subscribe to ProductiviT Premium:

• Payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing
• We receive confirmation of your subscription status
• We do not store your payment card information
• Subscription data is used only to provide premium features

8. Cookies and Tracking

ProductiviT does not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies. All data collection is limited to what's necessary for app functionality.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data:

• Active Accounts: As long as your account is active
• Deleted Accounts: Permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Backups: Backup copies are deleted within 90 days

10. International Users

ProductiviT is operated from Canada. If you are accessing the app from outside Canada, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada or other countries where our service providers operate.

8. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your country, province, or jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use ProductiviT, your information will be transferred to the United States.

By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and its processing there in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

8.1 European Users (GDPR Compliance)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to data portability
• Right to restrict or object to processing

Your continued use of ProductiviT after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
